In this survey, “plasma-derived medicine” refers to therapies made from human plasma. Examples of plasma-derived medicines include intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIG), albumin, RhIG, clotting factors, alpha-1 proteinase inhibitor, and C1 esterase inhibitor.
