GRANT OVERVIEW
Thank you for taking the time to apply for Regional Business Council’s It’s Our Region Fund. We recognize that for many nonprofit agencies, even small capital projects can be difficult to fund. RBC's It's Our Region Fund is designed to help nonprofits take care of the basics so that they can focus on their mission. The maximum award is $10,000. In 2025, the average gift was $4,500. APPLICATIONS ARE DUE ON July 17, 2026 by 11:59 PM - No exceptions the survey will close at that time.
Eligibility:
- Grants will be given for specific capital improvement projects in the following categories: Facility updates, Structural, and Equipment. This is not for general operating funds.
- Your agency’s request should not be part of a larger capital campaign. We want to fund projects that can be accomplished with our contribution. Applicants who provide matching funds for part of their project budget receive preference.
- If you've received funding from the It's Our Region Fund in the past, you may apply again. However, preference will be given to organizations that have not been previously selected. Only ONE application will be awarded per agency per year. Only one application will be accepted from each tax identification number.
- Your agency must have 501(c)(3) tax status. Any changes in the organization that could lead to a change in the status will be reported to the Regional Business Council immediately.
- Nonprofits must be located in and serve populations within the 16-county St. Louis MSA.
- Nonprofits considered include social services/basic needs, youth/education, or community development organizations.
