This is the time of year that the PTSA honors Issaquah High School’s Outstanding Educators!
Deadline for submissions is midnight, Sunday, April 22, 2018.

The Outstanding Educator Award was created by PTSAs to recognize individuals who have provided outstanding educational opportunities for students that are beyond the normal scope of their jobs.  An educator can be but is not limited to being a teacher, and can include specialists, support staff, administrators or community members.

When we present an Outstanding Educator Award, the individual is given a gold pin in the shape of an apple, his/her name is added to the plaque in the main office, and he/she will be acknowledged at a reception.  We also contribute $65 in the recipient’s name to the Washington Sate PTA Scholarship Foundation.  These funds provide scholarships for post-secondary students.

We would like you to participate in the selection of our awards recipient(s) through your recommendations. Nominations will be kept confidential.  Our Outstanding Educator Award Committee will make the final selection.

Recent recipients can be found on the PTSA Awards page of the I.H.S. website.
