The IHLS Nominating Committee is searching for potential candidates for the 2027 IHLS Board Elections. Nominations must be submitted no later than Noon on February 15, 2026. The election will be held by electronic ballot from March 15 to April 15, 2025. Elected candidates will begin their three-year term on July 1, 2026.

There are five open seats on the IHLS Board of Directors:

1 Public Library Representatives (3-year term)
1 Public Library Trustee Representatives (3-year term)
1 School Library Representative (3-year term)
1 Academic Library Representative (3-year term)
1 Special Library Representative (3-year term)
