This page will provide a general overview of the application process along with the first page of application information.

If your materials are ready (resume, letter of interest, and letter of recommendation), this application should take approximately five (5) minutes to complete and submit.
Welcome to the IAAP Professional Certification Scholarship Application.

In 2026 IAAP will hold two application sessions. In following years, IAAP plans to accept and award applications four times per year.
  • Application Session 1: 2Q 2026 (April - May)
    • Application Submissions: Due April 1 - May 15
    • Awards: Granted within 3Q (July - August)
  • Application Session 2: 3Q 2026 (July - September)
    • Application Submissions: Due July 1 - Septbember 15
    • Awards: Granted within Q4 2026 (October - December)
Application tips:
  • You may submit one application per year.
  • If a scholarship is awarded, you will receive a waiver valid for one year from date of the award.
  • If you are applying for a WAS or ADS scholarship and do not meet the requirements, your scholarship will be voided at the time of your application.
  • Resumes and CVs, Letter of Interest, and Letter of Recommendation must be accessible documents.

  • Identify which IAAP Professional Certification you are pursuing and if you meet the eligibility requirements.
    • CPACC
    • WAS
    • ADS
  • Upload your resume or CV
Page Three will ask you to:
  • Upload a Letter of Interest
    • Explain how you plan to use your certification.
      • Provide a description of your financial hardship.
        • No financial documentation or personally identifiable information is required.
      • Explain your plans to maintain your IAAP Professional Certification via education credit requirements.
      • How you plan to use your certification to support your role in the accessibility community.
      • Describe your IAAP affiliation plans upon earning your certification.
