Host Survey (Summer 2023) |
Hello!
We would like to hear from you about your experience hosting displaced Ukrainians in your home or property. You were selected to take part in this survey because of the role you have played in hosting either currently or in the past. Your contribution to the Ukraine response in Ireland is greatly appreciated.
Since April 1 2023, the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth are funding a Consortium of Partners - the Irish Red Cross, Helping Irish Hosts, the Peter McVerry Trust, the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to activate pledged accommodation and to support hosts and displaced Ukrainians.
We would like to hear your feedback on your hosting experience and any comments or suggestions on how we can improve to maintain existing and encourage new pledge offers.
Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and before proceeding it’s important you know how the information will be collected and used.
How Data Will Be Used
This online survey feeds into a centralised database managed by the Consortium of Partners listed above. All data collected for this study will be anonymised. This means that your name and email address, and other identifying information will not be attached to any of the information you give about your experience. Further, we, the partners, do not sell, rent, or lease contact data or lists to third parties, and we will not provide your personal information to any third party unless compelled to do so by law or with your express permission.
The data collected will assist partners in supporting hosts and displaced Ukrainians and will contribute to our reporting and assessments. The data collected will also feed into a broader EU-International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent study on hosting across Europe called the Safe Homes Programme. Again, all data collected and shared will be completely anonymised.
At the end of the survey there is the option to be entered into a draw to win 1 of 4 Swirl gift cards valued at €100 each. You will be asked to provide your email address so we can contact you if you win. Your email address will be stored separately and will not be linked to your survey responses.
