HCPC Regulation and Fees

The Patients Association is carrying out this survey on behalf of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). HCPC is a regulator of health and care professionals in the UK. Regulators help protect the public by setting standards for professionals, approving education and training, maintaining professional registers, and acting when concerns are raised.

We want to understand what patients and members of the public know about healthcare regulation, what they expect from regulators, and what they value most when health and care professionals are regulated. Your responses will help inform HCPC’s review of its fees and support clearer communication about the role and value of regulation.

The survey should take around 15 minutes to complete. Your answers will be treated confidentially and reported anonymously. All the information will be stored securely and confidentially in line with the Patients Association’s data privacy policy. You do not need to have heard of HCPC before taking part; we are interested in all views, including from people who are unfamiliar with healthcare regulation.

You are free to exit the survey at any time – you can do this by closing your browser.

Thank you.
