The Village of Hamburg is developing a community-driven Strategic Investment Plan to guide future improvements and investments in the downtown area. Your feedback will help the Village, Local Planning Committee, State partners, and project team better understand community priorities, identify challenges and opportunities, and determine the types of projects, businesses, housing, public spaces, and connections that will strengthen Hamburg over the next five to seven years.
The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Results will be summarized and shared with both the Local Planning Committee and the public. Your responses will help refine Hamburg's NY Forward vision and goals, shape project development, and support future funding opportunities.
Many of the questions in this survey refer to Downtown Hamburg. For the purposes of this survey, Downtown Hamburg includes the Village's primary business district centered around the intersection of Lake Street, Main Street, and Buffalo Street, as shown in the below proposed NY Forward map. Respondents to the survey should also consider the surrounding areas and uses adjacent to the proposed NY Forward boundary that contribute to the downtown experience.
