This survey (and your responses) will be used for my research on how people use Toki Pona! I want to examine how the highly limited lexicon of the language can affect its use.
You must be at least 18 years old to participate. Your participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time. If you choose to participate, first you'll rate your Toki Pona abilities. Then, you'll identify real or fake Toki Pona words. Finally, you'll answer questions based on illustrated scenarios. This survey is expected to take up to 15 minutes.
The data collected is fully anonymous. Nothing you enter in the survey can be traced back to you. You will not be required to provide any personal information. Only I will have access to your responses, which I will securely store. After I compile the data I'll destroy all of your individual responses. Combined (not individual) results from this survey may be published or shared.
It is highly unlikely you will experience any harms from this study. You will not receive any benefits from participation. You will not be compensated for your participating in this survey. But you will help me learn more about Toki Pona :D
