Join the Fort Wayne Running Club, City of Fort Wayne, City of New Haven, and Fort Wayne Trails for the second year of Tread the Trails! Join us every other Thursday for a free guided run/walk with 5k/10k distances. The run/walks will begin at 6:00 pm every other Thursday throughout the summer and will be taking place from the same starting point as our weekly Trek the Trails rides, which take place on Tuesday evenings. Participants are asked to come prepared with water, although there may be times when water is available. This event is designed with all ability levels in mind and is family-friendly, and each group will have a "sweeper" to ensure no one is lost or gets left behind. Routes may be a loop or an out and back and we intend to have signage to mark the halfway points for each distance. Each person is responsible for his/her own safety. The City of Fort Wayne, The City of New Haven, Fort Wayne Trails, Inc, and Fort Wayne Running Club are not responsible for your safety.

Please register here if you'd like to attend. This will assist us in providing improved communication with you, track how many people we might see at each event, and provide a way for you to give us anonymous feedback about your Tread the Trails experience and ideas about trail development. Registering also allows you to enter into a drawing to win goodies from local running stores at the end of the season.

 Severe weather may cancel the event. Check the Fort Wayne Trails Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter at least 1 hour before the run/walk, if you are unsure.
