VMDO Delegation to A2IM, Indie-Con and AIR Awards 2026

Application for Labels

Expressions of interest are open for Victorian Independent music labels of all genres to apply for a VMDO bursary, to be used to attend A2IM, Indie-Con and the AIR Awards in Adelaide, July 29 - Aug 31, 2026.

VMDO will provide up to 5 successful applicants with a $1500 (ex gst) per person bursary to support their attendance. This investment is intended to cover a reduced-price ticket (reduced courtesy of AIR), a return flight to Adelaide and accommodation for three nights.

The applicants understand and agree that they will be required to attend specific events and to complete a post-event survey. VMDO will also co-ordinate opportunities for additional networking and B2B connections.

This opportunity is in partnership with AIR and is only open to active independent labels which are based at least 50% in Victoria and to representatives who reside in Victoria full-time. Priority will be given to those who show most potential benefit in attending and to labels who generally aren't able to access these opportunities.
