Together HP: Permanent Place of Remembrance Community Survey |
INTRODUCTION
The City of Highland Park is in the process of creating the design for the Permanent Place of Remembrance to honor the memory of those whose lives were taken in the Highland Park shooting, and to reflect on the resiliency of our community. We invite you to share your ideas for how the space should look, how it should feel, and what it should mean.
The survey includes guided and open-ended questions to help the design team understand what matters most to our community — from the values and stories this space should reflect, to how people hope to experience it. Your responses will directly inform the work of SWA Group, the landscape architecture firm leading the design.
These questions are meant to help shape a space that belongs to all of us. There are no right or wrong answers, and you don't have to answer every question.
Your perspective matters, and we're grateful you're sharing it with us. What you share in this survey will remain anonymous, but will be shared as a summary with the working group planning for a permanent Place of Remembrance and the City Council.
