About the Trainers:
Jennifer Boland, M.A. serves as the Regional Prevention Programs Coordinator for The Learning Lamp, Inc. With a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and over 15 years of experience, Jennifer has led and implemented numerous evidence-based prevention programs supporting children, youth, and families across the Laurel Highlands. A Certified Bounce Back Clinician and Trainer, she provides trauma-informed interventions in schools and community settings and works to expand prevention programs like Blues, Bounce Back, CBITS, and Too Good for Drugs throughout Somerset County. As a foster and adoptive parent, Jennifer’s passion for helping children heal from trauma and realize their full potential is both professional and deeply personal. She serves on the steering committee for the Hope Beyond Hurt Trauma-Informed Coalition, where she chairs the Education and Training Action Team, is a certified HOPE Facilitator and a Lakeside Global Institute Adjunct Trainer. In addition to her direct work with children and families, Jennifer is a dedicated community advocate, working to advance trauma awareness, strengthen collaboration, and create systemic change that supports resilience and wellbeing for all. Her work reflects her steadfast belief that our children are our future—and that healing and resilience can transform communities.
Diana Grosik is a child welfare professional with over 21 years of experience in child protective services, foster care and adoption, court advocacy, forensic interviewing, and multidisciplinary team coordination. She is the Founding Director of the Circle of Support Child Advocacy Center in Cambria County, where she leads trauma-informed responses to child abuse cases, always prioritizing the needs of victims. Diana is an adjunct faculty member at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s Psychology Department and Lakeside Global Institute, and a certified Introduction to HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) Facilitator. She has presented across Pennsylvania on topics including child abuse investigations, the Child Advocacy Center model, and minimal fact interviewing with children. Her advocacy focuses on supporting children and families, human trafficking prevention, and building trauma-informed systems within child welfare and criminal justice. Diana serves on the Cambria County Sexual Assault Response Team, Child Near Fatality Team, and Criminal Justice Advisory Board, and chairs the Criminal Justice Action Team for the Hope Beyond Hurt Trauma-Informed Coalition. In 2025, she received the Pennsylvania Governor’s Victim Service Pathfinder Award. Diana holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from Marymount University.
