In December 1999 many pupils of Sacred Heart of Jesus National School, Huntstown, Dublin 15 completed letters and/or drawings and placed them in a Time Capsule in January 2000 to mark the Millennium.

The Time Capsule was to remain sealed for 25 years .... and it has now been opened!

We have sorted through the pupils' letters and drawings and are now seeking to make contact with pupils and families of pupils from that time to give them a copy of their letter/drawing from 1999/2000!

We will then send email invites to past pupils and families to collect their letter from the school at an event in January. We also ask for past pupils to allow the school to retain the original or photocopy of the letter/drawing as an important physical piece of primary history of our wonderful school.
