E3 Educate Empower Elevate Program Application 2026

This program may be for YOU!

E3 Educate, Empower, Elevate
is a program for women who want to prepare for a college or training program. This 9-week program involves self-exploration, goal setting, and the identification and planning of next steps in education or training. By graduation, you will have completed a SMART plan for achieving your career, financial wellness, and self-care goals.

Application DUE: Monday, March 23rd (limited slots are available)

Program components:
E3 Program Participants will be involved in the following activities from April 13th to June 10th:
  • 9-week course which meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45 – 8:30 PM
  • Additional assignments and activities outside of course meeting times
  • One-on-one mentorship from professional women in the Central Ohio community
  • Career exploration and assessments
  • Personal enrichment, including self-compassion and financial wellness
  • Education and Training program exploration and preparation
  • Supportive and kind environment of a cohort of women with similar goals
Eligibility:

To be selected as a candidate, you must
  1. Be at least 18 years of age
  2. Have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent
  3. Reside in Central Ohio - Franklin or surrounding counties
  4. Have a desire and availability to obtain additional education or training to lead to financial independence
AND
  1. Successfully complete the application and individual intake as outlined below
  2. Intend to enroll in an education or training program (does not have to mean a 2 or 4-year College)
  3. Be able to commit time to complete assignments outside of class
  4. Have access to internet/Wi-Fi technology; the program is offered as a hybrid model with half of the class sessions on Zoom. The program can provide support for candidates who anticipate this being a hardship
E3 Program Steps and Activities:

Application, orientations and academic assessment:

  • Applications are due no later than Monday, March 23 (limited slots available)
  • Initial orientation/intake and program overview – conducted over Zoom
  • Program acceptance decisions and notifications to applicants by Friday, April 3rd
E3 Course:
  • Program Kick-Off, Monday, April 13th, 5:45 - 8:45 PM, in-person at New Directions with dinner provided
  • Meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:45 – 8:30 PM
  • This is a hybrid course: 50% of the classes will be in person and 50% will be on Zoom.
  • In-person class at New Directions Center on the following dates:
    • Kick-Off: Monday, April 13
    • Wednesday, April 15
    • Wednesday, April 22
    • Wednesday, April 29
    • Wednesday, May 13
    • Monday, May 18
    • Wednesday, May 20 (Columbus State Community College)
    • Wednesday, June 3
