Faculty-Led Program Application Guide

Before You Apply
  • You must satisfy all eligibility requirements.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Overseas faculty can only be invited through the Faculty-Led Programs.

Faculty-Led Program Requirements
  • Student Recruitment: Recruit a minimum of 20 students from your home university.
  • Enrollment Condition: At least 10 of the recruited students must enroll in your Faculty-Led course for it to be offered.
  • Nomination List: Submit the official Student Nomination List by the deadline
  • Course Proposal: Propose a unique course not currently offered at Hanyang University (*The syllabus will be reviewed by Hanyang, and you may be asked to make adjustments to your course.)
  • Incentives: Faculty will receive a basic salary plus incentives based on the number of recruited students. (Incentives are applicable only if all program requirements are met.)
  • Non-Partner University Students: Will receive the same scholarships as those from partner universities.
[Eligibility]
  • Ph.D. degree holder (except for language, sports, and art fields)
  • Minimum 5 years teaching experience at a higher education institution
  • Currently employed as a full-time faculty member
  • Proficiency in English for teaching
  • Commitment to cross-cultural understanding and ability to work with diverse groups
  • (Preferred) Previous experience in teaching abroad

[Benefits]
  • Salary: KRW 5,400,000 per 3-credit course
  • Incentive: KRW 100,000 per recruited student
  • Housing: Double room provided
  • Airfare: Up to KRW 3,000,000 (* Economy Class ONLY, up to KRW 2,500,000 from specific regions)
