Dynamo & Dash Charities is proud to announce the launch of the Maggie McKethan Memorial Scholarship. Maggie was an incredible supporter of the Dynamo and Dash, both by advocating for coverage and taking it upon herself to highlight the individuals affiliated with the club. She was a passionate journalist who loved what she did and always put her heart and soul into her stories.

After Maggie’s tragic passing in 2024, Dynamo & Dash Charities committed to raising money to fund scholarships for aspiring female journalists who are looking to pursue a degree in sports journalism or are currently completing a degree in a similar field.

Dynamo & Dash Charities will award two $5,000 scholarships in 2026 to young women aspiring to be journalists. The scholarship is open to female high school seniors, college students or graduate students with at least one semester left in their studies. The application period will run from February 23 to March 31, and the two winners will be notified by April 13.
