Commission on Cancer (CoC) Operative Standards 5.3: Sentinel lymph Node Biopsy, 5.4: Axillary Lymph Node Dissection, 5.6: Colon Resection, 5.7: Total Mesorectal Excision, and 5.8: Pulmonary Resection have completed annual review and revisions are being proposed for these standards to both clarify when the standard is applicable and to adequately reflect the critical elements being performed.
