The KC Chamber is accepting nominations for the ATHENA Leadership Award and the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award.
The ATHENA Leadership Award honors a person "who has achieved the highest level of professional excellence, devoted time and energy to the community, and especially assists others, particularly women, in realizing their full leadership potential."
The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award is presented to emerging women leaders, under the age of 40, in the metro area, across professional sectors, for exemplary leadership. The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award recipient must demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession; provide valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in the community; and clearly serve as a role model for women and girls, both personally and professionally.
Nominations are due by May 22.
