Prairie View Livable Centers Study

In April of 2023, the City of Prairie View and the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) initiated a Livable Centers Study to research and plan for a 0.5 square mile area that sits within the City’s Central Business District. The boundaries of the study area are Sandra Bland Boulevard to the west, Texas Highway 290 to the south, Santee Street to the east, and Owens Road to the north.

The City of Prairie View is asking residents and visitors to share your thoughts and opinions to help guide the recommendations of this study. Your answers will remain anonymous, and the survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
