It is our ambition to welcome and value everyone who is involved in our garden.
Ways we do this include:
Thanking our volunteers, offering harvest to take home, gathering feedback, offering activities appropriate to age, ability, and interests, hosting regular gatherings and meals to socialise and celebrate together (such as Volunteers’ Week and Festive Gathering).
Please tell us if you feel valued as part of your involvement in the garden

Please comment to tell us
- If there are any other ways in which we can value and recognise the efforts of those involved in our garden

Please leave a comment if you have any examples you would like to share

Sharing Your Feedback
As a community garden our approach is to have our volunteers and community actively involved in decisions which matter to them.
We currently do this in the following ways:
- Ongoing Feedback: In person during sessions, anonymous suggestion box, phone and email
- Monthly Volunteer Meeting: Group discussion of garden topics and activities, opportunity to raise items for discussion
- Online Surveys; Annual Survey (every Feb), Consultation Survey with Focus Group (every 2 years, June-July)
Please tell us if you feel you have sufficient opportunities to have your say:
Yes, I am satisfied with the opportunities to give my feedback
No, I am not satisfied with the opportunities to give my feedback
I am not involved at the garden
Please comment to share
- Any other suggestions for us to gather feedback and help you have your say about the garden
- If you would like to share feedback, is there anything which would make it easier for you to do so?
