Call for Abstracts – ERH Symposium 2027

You’re invited to submit an abstract to present at the Echuca Regional Health (ERH) Research & Innovation Symposium 2027.

Symposium Dates: Thursday 18 March – Friday 19 March 2027
Venue: Echuca Regional Health – Education Centre
Application submissions close: 5pm Friday 16th October 2026

This symposium provides an opportunity to share innovative rural health research with colleagues, industry partners and community members.


Abstract Submissions
We welcome abstracts for oral and poster presentations at any stage of research, including:
- Design phase
- Implementation stage
- Results


Selection Criteria
Preference will be given to abstracts that demonstrate:
- A clear rural focus
- Collaboration or partnership across departments, services, with consumers or community.
- Documented findings or outcomes (where available)

Submission Guidelines
- Maximum 350 words
- Submissions to address headings listed

Presentation Formats
Abstract applications can be submitted for:
- Oral Presentation (15 minutes + 5 minutes for questions), or
- Poster presentation
