This survey is for anyone who supports a friend or member of their family/whānau who needs help with everyday living as a result of an injury, health condition, frailty or disability. The focus of this survey is not on the paid-professional workforce. The term ‘carer’ may not be the term everyone uses, for instance manaakitanga may be more appropriate for you.

The purpose of this survey is to provide you (and your family/whānau) with an opportunity to share your experience of providing care, how this impacts on your life, and what things work for you or make it harder.

This information will help us to design a new Carers’ Strategy Action Plan that can improve support for family/whānau and carers. For the new Action Plan to make a real difference we are keen to hear about a wide range of experiences - the bad things and the good.
