Our mission is to support the collective power of young adult women and gender expansive activists through leadership development and artistic expression to disrupt harmful systems and narratives. We believe in the power of community and understand that our voices tell stories that inspire us to act, create, and support art. Research is an essential part of evolving narratives beyond the biases that shape societal viewpoints. All researchers and our process for data collection, interpretation, and reporting are guided by our code of ethics.
Authentic: There is power in our story, culture, and community. Lived experience is a wealth of knowledge that can’t be taught.
Collaborative: It takes a village to support change. Building pathways to power is a team effort.
Courageous: We see beyond the statistics and aim to show others who we are in our own words. We are bold and empowered to advocate for justice.
Respectful: Holding one's story with care. Respecting the space, the differences, the boundaries. Active listening. Seeing the humanity in people.
Protectors: Being committed to prioritizing confidentiality and the psychological and physical safety of all. Provide transparency with good intentions of protecting the rights and welfare of all research participants.

Participation in this survey is voluntary. You may choose to skip any question or stop the survey at any time without penalty.
This survey is intended for individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color (BIPOC) who have given birth up to the age 26. Your name and any identifying information will be kept private. Your words may be quoted in reports, presentations, or creative projects, but only in ways that protect your identity unless you say otherwise. We will store all data securely and only the research team will have access to it.
Some questions may ask about personal experiences or sensitive topics. Please answer only what you feel comfortable sharing.

You are being invited to join our survey that we estimate will take about ~ 30 minutes. You may also be randomly selected to be interviewed. You can skip any question or stop at any time — no pressure, no judgment.

Compensation
Survey Participants: Each participant who fully completes the survey will receive $50 digital gift card within 2 weeks.
