Register to Volunteer at the Girls Lead The Way Summit!

We’re empowering the workforce of the future, and we’d love your help! We’re pleased to present Girls Lead The Way STEM Education Summit, a regional event for select middle (8th grade) and high school (9th grade) girls enrolled in Project Lead The Way coursework in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. About 150 girls will be joining us on November 2rd at Chevron San Ramon.

We need "Women-in-STEM" volunteers who are willing to guide hands-on STEM activities (we’ll train you!) for groups of up to 30 girls. We also are asking our volunteers to share their journey from high school to STEM careers through small-group discussions over lunch.

Two volunteer trainings will be scheduled on Monday, Oct. 23 from 2-3:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, October 24 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Each training will be via zoom, and will be presented in order to prepare volunteers to deliver the hands-on activities being used during the event.
