This is your chance to step into the world of aviation and see what your future could look like.
You'll spend the day inside a real working environment, getting closer to aircraft and exploring how the industry works behind the scenes.
Through a mix of hands‑on challenges and practical activities, you will experience the skills, teamwork, and problem solving that are part of everyday life in aviation and defence.

During the day you will:
- Go behind the scenes on a hangar tour and see aircraft up close
- Take part in problem solving challenges and test your skills
- Work in teams on fast‑paced, interactive activities
- Try flight planning and see how journeys are mapped
- Build and explore how aircraft are designed
- Experience real aviation training equipment used by industry professionals
By the end of the day, you'll have a clearer understanding of the different paths open to you and how your own interests and strengths could lead to a career in aviation.
This is about seeing what is possible, building confidence, and starting to picture yourself in a future you may not have considered before.
Places are limited and this is an application process. We ask each applicant to share why they would like to attend as part of their submission.
