ASAM Criteria Correctional Settings and Reentry Volume Case Sketch Interest Survey

We are seeking volunteers to help sketch out SUD treatment case studies for The ASAM Criteria, Fourth Edition, Correctional Settings and Reentry. Each case study will describe a fictional patient case outlining clinical presentation in each Criteria dimension and subdimension. These will be used to test our dimensional admission criteria.

Volunteers will be provided with a template and given general guidelines on what kind of case to sketch out, depending on their area of expertise. We anticipate sketches to be approximately 1 to 3 pages in length. Volunteers will be acknowledged in the contributors’ section of the Correctional Settings and Reentry Volume.

Timeline: April - July 2026 (some flexibility here)
