You are about to apply to a program that connects, empowers, and transforms budding global citizens and serves as an entry into the Melton Foundation’s lifelong fellowship.

Completing this application form authentically and diligently by the deadline is an essential step towards embarking on this ten-month collaborative learning journey with the Melton Foundation. If selected into the program, you will be one of up to 20 - 24 university students from around the world who will embark on a guided, experiential learning journey based on our Global Citizenship Development Model of Understanding Self, Making Sense of the World, Collaborating across Boundaries, and Enabling and Driving Change ♾️

Collectively, we will strive towards creating a growth environment where you can become the catalyst for transformative change, capable of honing your global citizenship skills to connect and collaborate across boundaries of sector, place, and identity. The program begins online from March - December 2027 and includes an in-person meet-up (details to be confirmed) with full travel sponsorships available for actively engaged participants. Upon successful completion of the 10-month program, you will be eligible to join the life-long Melton Foundation Fellowship Network! So, this application is the entry to a transformative journey and lifelong fellowship that goes way beyond the duration of the program 🫱🏽‍🫲🏼


ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION DEADLINE

The Melton Fellowship Global Citizenship Learning Program is open to university students with a passion for local community impact, aged 18 - 25 who are enrolled at our partner institutions listed below.
  • Accra, Ghana- Ashesi University College
  • Bangalore, India- BMS Educational Trust
  • New Orleans, United States- Dillard University
  • Jena, Germany- Friedrich Schiller Universität
  • Temuco, Chile- Universidad de La Frontera
Preference will be given to university students who expect to remain on campus for at least two more years, as this is a lifelong fellowship that also relies on active participation in local team activities to put global citizenship into practice.

Applicants must have sufficient English language skills to express themselves and engage with others in the program.
