AGB Business Internship Description

Students crave real-world experiences, and our AGB Business Internship gives you just that.

Our program is intended for young persons between the ages of 16-20 years old. These youth are those who aspire to work in a business setting or to own their own business someday. It is often very difficult for young person's meeting this description to obtain first-time employment and career-related mentoring, which puts them at a disadvantage compared with their white peers from higher-income households.

The goal for SBI is to provide youth with strong business content and transferable employment skills that will stand out on their resumes, so they are hirable in the future.

You will learn about unique businesses (multi-national financial services, commerical real-estate, commercial insurance, entrepreneurials endeavors) during your time with us. You will complete real-world business projects.

By the time you complete the program, you will have stronger business content and a digital employment portfolio that includes a professional resume, professional head-shot, and a LinkedIn profile for future/internship searches.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Students with interest in Business/Entrepreneurship preferred- Between 16-20 years of age- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills- Responsible, reliable and respectful- Experience with Microsoft Suite.

Start/End Date: June 22- July 31, 2026
Time Commitment: 9am - 3pm
Compensation ($)
- Bi-weekly pay $16.50/hr
- Lunch will be provided during some trips

Interview Dates:
Interviews will take place May 1 - May 9 from 4pm - 6pm on Zoom. You will be notified if you advance to that round.
