The Rural Ottawa Youth Mental Health Collective is a group of 13 agencies on a mission to help rural Ottawa youth feel more supported with their mental health. In 2021 and 2023, we did a survey to gain an understanding of how rural youth were supported in their mental health. Three years later, we want to check-in and see if things have changed.

This survey is meant for youth aged 12-24, and parents/caregivers, and is 100% anonymous. No one will know how you answered the questions.

Your participation in this survey is completely voluntary. We estimate it will take about 5-10 minutes to complete the survey.

If you are interested in learning more about, or being part of, our project, please connect with Lindsay via e-mail at info@ruralottawayouth.ca.

If you (or anyone you know) needs support with their mental health, resources are available. Visit our website, www.ruralottawayouth.ca to find out about programs/services available in your area.

If you are in distress, please call the Youth Services Bureau (YSB) Crisis Line at 613-260-2360 or the Distress Centre of Ottawa and Region at 613-238-3311.
If it is an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
