The City of Franklin is conducting a Downtown Parking Study to better understand how the parking system functions today, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations that support downtown businesses, residents, employees, visitors, and future growth.
The study will evaluate existing parking conditions, gather community input, assess future parking needs, and identify practical strategies to improve parking access and management. As part of this effort, the City is inviting community members to participate in a survey about parking in downtown Franklin.
The survey is being administered by the City and Walker Consultants, and is designed to gather feedback on parking availability, convenience, usage patterns, challenges, and overall experiences accessing downtown destinations. Input from residents, business owners, employees, visitors, event attendees, and other downtown users will help inform the study findings and recommendations, ensuring that future parking strategies reflect the needs and priorities of the community.
