Active Transportation Alliance, a non-profit advocacy group working to promote walking, biking, and public transportation to healthier, more sustainable, and more equitable communities, is starting a campaign for Fair Fares for residents of the Chicagoland area. The Fair Fares campaign is focused on providing more cost effective public transportation for residents of Chicagoland with lower income. Active Transportation Alliance will use the information gathered from this questionnaire to develop a report making the case for the implementation and administration of a Fair Fares program. The report will be available on the Active Transportation Alliance website (www.activetrans.org) after its public release.

If you want to share your personal story with us of how the cost of transit has been a barrier for you, please get in touch by emailing lynda@activetrans.org.
