2026 OADN Foundation Level Up RN Educator Scholarship Application

Description: The Level Up RN Faculty Scholarship will be awarded to a current full-time associate degree nursing faculty member. The scholarship award amount is $1,000.00, and in addition, the recipient will receive the complete Level Up RN Ultimate Nursing School Survival Kit (valued at $469.95), one-year Level Up RN membership (valued at $99), and Flashables (valued at $199).

The recipient will be recognized at the 2026 OADN Convention, Empowering the ADN Educator: Flourishing with Strength and Sustainability, at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, in San Antonio, TX, November 12 - 14, 2026.

Requirements: The applicant must meet the following criteria:
  • Currently employed as a full-time faculty member.
  • Hold an active membership in OADN as an individual or through a program.

Instructions: To apply for the Level Up RN Educator Scholarship, individuals should submit the following materials on or before the application deadline:

  • Letter of Interest: A letter, not to exceed 1000 words, attesting that you meet the above stated criteria, discusses how you have utilized innovative teaching approaches in the classroom, lab, or clinical setting. You may also address future ideas for innovative techniques that you would like to implement.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV): Please include a current CV (see file upload instructions)
  • Recommendation Letter: A letter from the nursing program dean/director or faculty colleague testifying to your innovation in nursing education.
  • Applicant Headshot: A current headshot photo (see file upload instructions) for marketing and/or ceremonial use only. OADN Foundation blinds the candidate headshot information to eliminate possible unconscious bias in the review process. In drafting your candidate statements, please note that your headshot will not be shared with reviewers. Only your application packet narrative and supporting documents will be accessible to reviewers.
  • W-9 Form When requested, Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification and Certification is needed: W-9 (irs.gov)
