The FWCP is renewing its approach to funding compensation projects and is seeking feedback on draft regional funding priorities. When final, these funding priorities will strengthen the alignment between the projects we fund and our primary obligation to compensate for BC Hydro dam impacts to fish, wildlife, and their habitats.
Draft regional funding priorities have been prepared for each of our three regions. Your anonymous feedback on the draft regional funding priorities–which vary by region–will be considered by the FWCP’s regional boards, along with feedback from First Nation partners and the FWCP’s fish and wildlife technical committees, prior to finalizing our funding priorities in early 2027.
Although regional funding priorities are of the highest priority to our regional boards, we will still consider funding projects that align strongly with our three core elements even if not reflected in our draft funding priorities.
- Please rank the following priorities from high to low.
- The draft funding priorities are listed in alphabetical order by value. No ranking is implied.
- For any open text responses, please make sure you don’t include personal information as it will be removed.
