2026 Audit/IG Planning Topics |
To assist the Audit team in developing the FY 2026 Audit Plan, please provide as much information as possible for the area(s) of interest you would like us to review. Your input will be used to develop audits that bring value back to the Exchange, which positively impact overall operations, personnel, and/or protect the bottom line. In the comment boxes below, please identify, to the best of your knowledge, the following:
1. Topic. What Exchange operation(s), topic, or improvement opportunity would you recommend be addressed in the FY 2026 Audit Plan (e.g., what is the general title for the audit)?
2. Background. Please provide information to help us better understand this topic. For example any scenarios that may be pertinent to the recommended topic (what has worked well and/or what could work better), any regulatory requirements associated with the topic, how does this process/program impact Exchange strategic initiatives, etc.
3. Magnitude/Impact. To the best of your awareness, does the program/operation impact the Exchange through revenues, cost, or how other programs/processes rely on it; and describe how and to what extent?
4. Potential Risk. Can you describe if this program does not work well, how would it impact the program’s benefits to the Exchange mission?
5. Potential Review Benefit. What are the cash conservation, expense reduction, revenue generation, or process improvements that could result from a review?
We greatly appreciate the information you provide. Also, please be aware that if you have multiple topics to recommend, you will be given an option after your first submission to enter a separate recommendation. As a reminder, although there is an option to add your name to the suggestion at the end of the survey, it is okay to remain anonymous. All suggestions will be welcomed and considered equally.
