Introduction

The FSPCA Lifetime Achievement Award was established in 2023 to recognize the achievements of an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the FSPCA and global food safety across government, academia, and/or industry. Previous Lifetime Achievement award recipients are Jenny Scott, Retired Food Safety Professional (2023) Katherine M.J. Swanson, Retired Food Safety Professional (2024) and David Fairfield, NGFA (retired) (2025).

Please submit your nomination(s) for the Lifetime Achievement Award by 5:00 PM U.S. Central on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Nominations will be evaluated by IFSH-FSPCA management and the FSPCA Executive Advisory Board Chair.

The 2026 awards will be presented at the 2026 FSPCA Annual Conference on November 17 (in-person, Burr Ridge, IL).
