ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Parramatta's Lit! Writers and Editors in Residence Program supports Western Sydney writers by providing dedicated time and space to develop new work in partnership with cultural organisations across Parramatta.
Each writer will receive a $500 residency stipend, funded by Creative Australia and administered through Auspicious Arts Projects. The residency is centred on writing and is designed to foster meaningful connections between writers and industry in Parramatta
This is not a public presentation or workshop program. The focus is on giving writers the opportunity to create new work. Any additional activities, such as talks, workshops or public events, will only occur where agreed between the writer and host organisation and will be arranged and paid separately.
