2026 Application

The RCA Future Leader Program aims to develop the next generation of leaders in Culinology® and Food Innovation, connecting the gap between academic training and industry leadership. This program will foster mentorship and knowledge sharing from seasoned professionals to strengthen the RCA pipeline of future leaders (Board members, speakers, committee leaders, and more), while engaging young professionals within the industry.



Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the Research Chefs Association Future Leader Program, you must:
  • Be a current dues-paid member of the Research Chefs Association
  • Commit to a two-year program (Year 1: Learning & Exploration, Year 2: Call to Action)
  • Be an industry professional with a minimum 3 years work experience
  • Have employer support for the time commitment (one participant per company per year)
  • Aspire to actively serve on an RCA committee, the Board of Directors, or another leadership role
  • Demonstrate interest and motivation to participate in the program
  • Plan to attend the RCA Annual Conference

Application Requirements
Completion of this application form, including submission of your resume and a letter of recommendation, is required.

Deadline to Apply
Applications for the 2026 cohort must be submitted by February 13, 2026.

Announcement
Future Leader Program participants will be announced at the RCA Annual Conference, March 10-12, 2026, in Westminster, Colorado.
