How long will the survey take?
The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
What types of questions will the survey ask?
Questions fall into three categories: (1) Your individual work experience (2) Your thoughts on the general state of the historic preservation field (3) What you hope to get out of the Retreat and what kind of support nonprofit preservation workers could use to make their work more effective and/or fulfilling.
Why are we asking you these questions?
This is not a scientific study; we simply want to get some preliminary and anonymous data about how folks are feeling, how New York’s nonprofit preservationists think about the direction of the field, and how the League can support your work at the Retreat and beyond. The aggregated data will help us kick off the conversation at the Retreat.
An important note on confidentiality: Although we are requesting your name/email, please know that your survey responses will remain confidential. NYCON/BoardStrong will administer the survey; Preservation League staff will not have access to individual survey responses. Any data that is shared with the League and with fellow Colleagues will be presented in aggregate form without identifying information. NYCON/BoardStrong is only collecting your name so that we can track who has responded and who needs a reminder.
