INTRODUCTION

This survey is sponsored by the Geospatial Professional Network (GPN)--formerly URISA. The purpose of the survey is to gather information on current GIS program and project management approaches, from a wide range of organization types, in order to gain insights and assess trends in GIS management practices. This is an update to the successful 2019 GIS Management Survey.

All respondents will be provided with a digital summary report summarizing the survey findings. No personal or organization identification information will be released.

The appropriate respondents to this survey are GIS program and project managers (whether or not you are a GPN member) in all types of organizations and companies from all regions and countries of the world. We appreciate your time for response to this survey. The survey has 28 questions and should take approximately 20 to 45 minutes to complete*.

*We encourage you to reserve enough time to complete the survey in one sitting but, if you need to leave and return, your responses up to the last page completed (after selecting the "Next Page" button) will be saved. Enter the survey link again (from the same computer) and the form will pick up at the top of the page where you left off.

NOTE: If you represent a departmental GIS program which is part of a larger organization or agency GIS program, answer these questions for YOUR department. If you represent a GIS program which is also part of a larger GIS multi-organizational GIS consortium or cooperative, answer these questions for YOUR organization.
