Help us celebrate the excellent work of our lifesaving aircrew, dedicated fundraisers, supporters, corporate partners and volunteers who help make our missions possible by taking part in our public vote.

The Community Fundraiser Award is awarded to an individual, group or society that has demonstrated significant support and commitment to raising lifesaving funds for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.

Please see below a summary of the nominees. At the end of the list is your chance to vote! Please vote for one nominee for our Community Fundraiser Award. Voting closes at 4pm on Friday 26th June 2026. The winner will be announced during the charity's Saving Lives Charity Ball on Friday 25th September 2026.
Declan Barlow and Sandy Giles, Staffordshire

Declan Barlow and Sandy Giles have been staunch supporters of Midlands Air Ambulance Charity following the loss of Declan’s father, Tony Barlow, who our crews attended but were unable to save. Turning grief into positivity, they held a music and raffle evening at Blymhill Village Hall in Tony’s memory which not only raised an incredible £7,277 but also brought their community together for an evening filled with warmth, laughter, music and generosity.
Beverley Davies, West Midlands

Beverley Davies began supporting Midlands Air Ambulance Charity in April 2025 after losing a friend, who our crews attended but were unable to save. Over the past year she has run many events including psychic nights, fashion shows, craft events and parties, with more planned through 2026 and into 2027. She also runs stalls, secures event support, delivers regular donations, and has recruited four new volunteers, raising vital funds and awareness.
Tracey Redmond, West Midlands

Tracey Redmond is a proud Mom of Keaton Lacey who did a skydive for the charity in 2022 after the crew were called to his brother Callum. Sadly, Keaton passed away in 2025 at just 20 years old after being involved in a road traffic collision. His family have been fiercely fundraising ever since – raising over £10,000 through donations, events and community support. Keaton’s sister Mia also took part in the charity’s skydive in his honour
Anne-Marie Eden, West Midlands

Anne‑Marie Eden has been an outstanding Business Ambassador for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity over the years, using her network to broker valuable introductions and leading the organisation and sales of the annual Business Ambassadors Quiz. Her efforts have helped build long‑term partnerships and raise in excess of £65,000. Her commitment to the charity’s lifesaving work and her influence across the West Midlands have been instrumental in securing relationships that simply wouldn’t exist without her
Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club, Shropshire

Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club have supported Midlands Air Ambulance Charity since 1996. The club has recently marked their £100,000 fundraising milestone – a staggering achievement. Each year the club support the charity with their annual tractor runs from Apply Farm to Bridgnorth High street alongside a number of Vintage Machinery Shows throughout the summer months. Members have also recently supported the charity at the launch of the First Farmer on Scene first aid training course.
Eckington Whist Drive, Worcestershire

Over 35 years ago, after the sudden loss of her husband, Betty Hodges helped rise funds to set up the organisation that is now Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, alongside her sister Frances and friend Cynthia Norton. Though all three founders have passed, their legacy continues through the group now led by Pat Chambers and Stephanie Elphick, who continue their remarkable fundraising. Their long running jumble sales, coffee mornings and whist drives have recently reached an incredible £100,000 fundraising milestone.
Lucton School, Herefordshire

Nine sixth formers from Lucton School demonstrated exceptional community spirit and leadership by organising an ambitious 10-day fundraising campaign for our work. Designed not only to inspire their peers but to unite the entire school community, the initiative featured a wide range of engaging activities, including a competitive house swimming gala, a bake sale, a “Wear It Red” day, and informative Combined Cadet Force First Aid sessions. Through their creativity, teamwork, and dedication, the students successfully raised over £5,000.
Croft Farm Water Park, Gloucestershire

Croft Farm Water Park have supported Midlands Air Ambulance Charity since 2008. Their fundraising total so far is a staggering £38,127 which is raised through their annual firework display. The annual show brings together the local community for a stunning display across the lake. They work tirelessly to ensure the event is accessible and welcoming to all - from families with small children to older people it is great to see everyone coming together.
