2018 Community Mental Health and Substance Use Sector Survey

Welcome to the 2018 Community Mental Health and Substance Use Sector Survey!

This survey is designed to improve our understanding of the capacity and demographics of the community-based mental health and substance use workforce in British Columbia.

Community Action Initiative has launched similar surveys in past years, focused on mapping out the important role community organizations play in supporting mental health and wellness, and reducing the harms associated with substance use. Results from 2016 and 2017 surveys can be found on our website. The goal of the 2018 survey is to identify opportunities for training, capacity development and other professional development initiatives for the sector’s workforce.

Community Action Initiative provides grant and training opportunities for community-based organizations across BC. We take a localized, collaborative approach by creating networks and encouraging dialogue within and across sectors.
