2026 OADN Foundation Level Up RN Student Scholarship Application

Description: The OADN Foundation Level Up RN Student Scholarship is awarded to a current associate degree nursing student who has completed the first or second semester of the program. The scholarship award amount is $1,000.00, and in addition, the recipient will receive the complete Level Up RN Ultimate Nursing School Survival Kit (valued at $469.95), one-year membership with Level Up RN (valued at $99), and Flashables (valued at $199).

The recipient will be recognized at the 2026 OADN Convention, Empowering the ADN Educator: Flourishing with Strength and Sustainability, at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter, in San Antonio, TX, November 12 - 14, 2026.

Requirements: The applicant must meet the following criteria:


  • Currently enrolled in a state-approved associate degree nursing program that holds OADN program membership.
  • Completed one or two semesters of the nursing program.


Instructions: To apply for the OADN Foundation Level Up RN Student Scholarship, individuals should submit the following materials on or before the application deadline of April 30, 2026:

  • Letter of Interest: A letter of interest, not to exceed 1000 words, discussing scholastic experiences, achievements, and honors, participation in nursing organizations and nursing-related extracurricular activities in which you participate. Also explain your future goals upon becoming a registered nurse.
  • Unofficial Transcript: This may be uploaded from the student portal.
  • Recommendation Letter: A letter from the nursing program dean/director or faculty member verifying that you are a student in good standing and testifying to your passion for nursing, not to exceed 500 words.
  • Applicant Headshot: A current headshot photo (see file upload instructions) for marketing and/or ceremonial use only. OADN Foundation blinds the candidate headshot information to eliminate possible unconscious bias in the review process. In drafting your candidate statements, please note that your headshot will not be shared with reviewers. Only your application packet narrative and supporting documents will be accessible to reviewers.

  • W-9 Form When requested, Form W-9 Request for Taxpayer Identification and Certification is needed: W-9 (irs.gov)
