2025 Ontario Agricultural Equine Economic Impact Study - Horse Owner Survey

This survey is designed to collect information on the activities and expenditures of horse owners, breeders and trainers in Ontario in order to estimate the economic impact of the equine industry on Ontario and its regions. The data collected will remain confidential and will not be used for any other purpose or distributed to any other party.

Please note that the survey features a number of questions that ask for estimates of your horse related costs. This information is essential for developing an accurate economic picture of the equine industry in Ontario.

We suggest that you set aside some dedicated time to reflect on the questions and complete the survey.

We strongly encourage you to complete the survey on a desktop/laptop computer, but you can use a tablet/mobile device if you prefer.

At the end of the survey you’ll be asked if you want to have your name entered into a draw for a chance to win one of three prizes (Amazon or Visa gift cards worth $200, $100, and $50).
