EmployerOne 2026 |
Introduction
The Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin (WPBWWD) is calling on all employers to help us better understand workforce issues facing your business and industry. The EmployerOne survey collects information on a range of topics and trends including projected vacancies, hiring intentions, recruitment strategies and challenges, as well as perceptions of candidate skills, education and training. After analysis, the aggregated data and feedback is released to educators, community partners, government agencies and the public to improve understanding of the local labour market and produce strategies to meet workforce and employer needs.
What Does EmployerOne Do Locally?
EmployerOne showcases results which help to shape future projects for all of the involved partners. WPBWWD Projects have explored topics such as: Why are people quitting the manufacturing industry, Youth summer employment, How to write effective job postings, and Defining soft skills and their importance!
