Welcome to the Eastern Edge RCSD District Caregiver Education Series!

The Education Team of the Children, Youth and Families – Addiction and Mental Health Edmonton Zone (Alberta Health Services) in collaboration with Eastern Edge RCSD is pleased to continue to offer the caregiver education sessions. These free 90 minute sessions are intended to provide parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members with basic level information regarding addiction and mental health challenges that can and do affect children and youth.

Who can attend:

Presentations are hosted in schools but are open to all adults in the community. Note that some sessions focus on topics relating to elementary school kids while others apply mainly to adolescent issues.  Unless specified sessions are for an adult audience; however some sessions welcome youth (ages 12+) to attend with their parent/caregiver. If a youth is not able to attend a youth session with their parent/caregiver, the adults can come on their own.
