Welcome to the Copernicus Data Usage and Environmental Sustainability Survey.

The survey takes on average 8 minutes to complete and will remain open until 30 January 2026.

This survey is intended for users who access Copernicus data through the Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem (CDSE) or related services. Its objective is to gather structured, quantitative information on how Copernicus data is accessed, processed, downloaded, reused, and retained, in order to support an assessment of environmental sustainability.

Data Privacy Notice
This survey is conducted by Capgemini as part of an engagement carried out on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA).
All responses will be analysed in an aggregated and anonymised manner. No individual respondent will be identified. The survey does not collect personal data, except if you voluntarily provide an email address to express your interest in a follow-up interview. In that case, your email address will be used only for contact related to this study. ESA, as data controller, manages the lifecycle of all personal data collected. Data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, including the GDPR, and will be retained only for the duration necessary to fulfil the objectives of this work.

Personal data collected for the purpose of this study will be retained for a maximum duration of 1 year, after which it will be deleted.
