WHAT IS INTERVARSITY?
Intervarsity competition aims to promote participation of young people in equestrian sport across Queensland after highschool.
Intervarsity competition aims to promote participation of young people in equestrian sport across Queensland after highschool.
Competitors must be enrolled in an approved course at a recognised tertiary or vocational education institution in Australia.
Competitions are conducted throughout the year as tag on days and are run under EA rules. Competition is offered in the following disciplines:
- Dressage
- Driving
- Eventing
- Jumping
- Para-Equestrian
- Show Horse
- Vaulting
ELIGIBILITY:
Intervarsity competition is open to riders of any age, background an ability who meet the following requirements:
1) Currently enrolled in a recognised Australian university at the undergraduate, post-graduate or Phd Level.
OR
2) Currently enrolled in a higher education institution (i.e. TAFE)
OR
3) Currently enrolled in a recognised Australia Trade College
AND
4) Can verify their eligibility with a valid Student ID Card or Proof of Enrolment (PoE) Form.
Eligibility of nominations will be checked upon close of entries for each event.
AND
5) Be a current financial member of Equestrian Queensland.
