BACKGROUND
Sustainability is a word close to the heart of food businesses, farmers and market gardeners. However, many who start out with an objective of growing good food and feeding people, hit a number of barriers to growing and sustaining their ventures long term. We are investigating possibilities for a local food co-op to support good outcomes in the Dunedin food sector and help improve access to locally grown good food.
