Based on four years of community engagement and technical research, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has produced a draft Ecological System Plan document for public review. The Ecological System Plan will address how environmental impacts from the city can be addressed throughout the park system to better protect water, air, land, and life in the parks.

You can view the document on-line at:

or in printed form at several park facilities: Carl W. Kroening Interpretive Center, Kenwood Community Center, Lake Nokomis Community Center, Luxton Recreation Center, Lynnhurst Recreation Center, Mary Merrill MPRB Headquarters, North Commons Recreation Center, Northeast Recreation Center and Powderhorn Recreation Center.
